Sekou Mark is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience in Latin American and Caribbean capital markets. He has pioneered several financial innovations in the Caribbean region, including establishing the first Representative office of an indigenous Caribbean bank in Central America; creating the first tradable Index Fund in the English Speaking Caribbean; and establishing the first retail-level Mutual Fund in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union. Sekou holds an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University and has held leadership roles at many key regional and global institutions. Sekou currently serves as Head, English-Speaking Caribbean of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and continues to strive towards building strong, resilient, impactful and sustainable communities in our Caribbean community.
