Richard W. Duncan, OBE holds a B. Sc. in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies; and a MA in Public Administration from Carleton University.
Mr. Duncan has made presentations at various conferences in the areas of Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning and Bank Management.
He is also a Fellow Chartered Professional Account; and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada.
Richard’s 40-year career spanned Public Finance Management and Baking.
In 2008 he accepted the Award as a Distinguished Graduate of UWI in the field of Public Finance, in commemoration of the University’s 60th Anniversary. In 2022 Richard was made an Officer of the British Empire (OBE, Civil Division) for services to Banking.
Richard retired as Managing Director of Grenada Co-operative Bank in 2021. Currently he serves as Advisor, Ministry of Finance (Grenada), as a director of Caribbean Financial Services Corporation (CFSC); and is Chairman of Grenada Citizenship By Investment Committee.
