Ms. Charles is the Group General Manager of Antigua Commercial Bank Ltd. now trading as ACB Caribbean, the largest Indigenous Commercial Bank in Antigua & Barbuda. Ms. Charles has a wealth of experience in Banking having last held the position of Deputy Managing Director at Bank of St. Lucia Ltd. She also served in the role of Interim General manager responsible for transitioning Bank of Antigua to ECAB in 2008/09.

She has extensive regional experience having served on regional boards in the capacity of Director & Chairman of the Caribbean Credit Card Corporation and Director of Grace Kennedy Insurance (GKI EC), and Vice Chairman of the ECCU Bankers Association.

Currently she holds the position of Vice Chairman on the Board of the Eastern Caribbean Automated Clearing House (ECACH).

Ms. Charles holds a Bachelor’s of Science (hons) Degree in Banking & Financial Services from the University of Manchester and Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Manchester Business School. She is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, now known as the Institute of Financial Services (IFS) UK. Ms. Charles is an accredited Director (CSI Canada).

Ms. Charles is a past president of the Rotary Club of St. Lucia (2017/2018) and enjoys hiking, dancing, interior decorating and photography. She describes herself as free spirited and fun loving and does not take herself too seriously.
