Ian is a senior financial executive with over 26 years of experience across retail, corporate, and investment banking. As General Manager, he leads a team that originates, structures, syndicates, and trades across primary and secondary debt capital markets.

He has played a pivotal role in regional capital markets, managing institutional relationships throughout the wider Caribbean and structuring multi-currency financing for sovereigns and top- tier corporates, across several sectors, with in excess of TT$50Billion in executed facilities. Ian founded the Bank’s Secondary Market Bond Trading Desk which to date, has traded in excess of US$1.1B in assets and more recently designed and implemented its Repurchase Agreement (Repo) Program.

He holds an IMBA (Finance) from the University of the West Indies and contributes internally to enterprise strategy through its ALCO. Externally, he serves on the Board of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad & Tobago, chairs its Capital Markets Committee, and is part of the CARICOM Private Sector Steering Committee on the Regional Stock Exchange.
